Mama's Watching is my submission for the North Charleston 9th Annual African American Fiber Exhibition: Honoring Maya Angelou in South Carolina. It was a great honor to render an ancestor whose activist heart would be burning in lieu of all violence and violation happening to black people in the US. I know she is watching all of us.
