Description
Madonna and Child: The Sacred and Profane is my submission to the North Charleston Cultural Arts Department Tenth Annual African American Fiber Arts Exhibition. It is memory of the Charleston 9, who were viciously killed at the Emmaunel African Methodist Episcopal Church, June 17th 2015. The juxtapose of the iconic image against the weaponry is my homage to their deaths.
